Tips for jump roping
| - Be sure your rope is the right length. When you step
in the center, the handles should |
| |
just reach your armpits. |
| - Push off and land on the balls of your feet. |
| - Hands should be level with hips, and elbows close
to the body. |
| - As you jump your knees should be straight but not
locked, and slightly bent after |
| |
landing. |
| - The power comes mainly from your wrists, the rest
of your upper body shouldn't |
| |
move much. |
| - Look straight ahead and don't lean forward at the
hips. |
